Green Silver Needle (Shenya Yinzhen)

Available early in the spring and only for a matter of days, this "pre-rain" tea is made of unopened buds and then processed to a green tea. The tea is traditional to Fujian Province. Our lot is Pre-Qing Ming and grown high on the mountain giving the leaf a deep green color and distinct taste notes. Steeped, it offers a bright, savory aroma and a smooth, sweet taste.
