Jade Spring (Yu Quan)
Jade Spring is the clarion announcing that the tea harvest is well underway. Grown in Fujian Province, it is a mix of leaf styles that exemplify the delicate art of Chinese tea making. The leaf has been well-preserved in processing - long, slender, light-green buds open, revealing beautiful oval-shaped, serrated leaves. Tender is the leaf and it will cup to a naturally sweet and light vegetal taste. This tea is true delight. Excellent served with food.
Tea Notes
Not a known tea in the U.S. It is a fast growing varietal, note the size of its leaf by early spring.
