Yong De Mao Cha

|
Yong De Mao Cha is a sun-dried Pu-erh tea. It was harvested in the spring of 2007 from long-lived tea bushes in the Meng Ku township, Xishuangbanna District, Yunnan Province. This mix of large green-brown leaves and stems were sun-dried to stop the fermentation process. This "raw" Pu-erh has a depth of taste and a lingering sweet, floral flavor. Cup is a burnt umber color tinged with red-orange. It will brew numerous times using short infusions. Excellent low-cost everyday Pu-erh tea value!
Tea Notes
Mao Cha's are typically harvested in the jungles of Yunnan where they grow wild. An indigenous plant, it is broad leafed, very malty and satisfying in taste.
Mao Cha's sweetness and floral notes will linger long after cupping.
