We source our rose buds from Anhui and Fujian Provinces. The buds are small, tight and have the green bud leaves in place. Color is a deep scarlet red. Buds have a strong fragrance to blend with tea, steeped in water or as a decoration. Rose is excellent blended with dark Pu–erh tea.

Snow tea is a white lichen that grows on rocks in Yunnan Province. Prized in China, it has a subtle and full taste yet nothing overbearing. It goes well with food.
These small white Chrysanthemum flowers are rich in fragrance and taste. We buy them each year from small village in Anhui Province and they are picked wild and traditionally processed (no additives). Flower does well served as a hot beverage with food, as a refreshing cool beverage in warmer weather and when blended with Pu–erh tea.
An unusual black tea given the varietal it is made from and the quality of its taste. This tea generally is not sold outside of China. Grown on a farm at a comparatively high elevation of 1000 meters, this early harvest leaf is quite distinct in aroma. Black Cloud is made from the Mei Zhan varietal, a slow-growing Fujian Province bush whose leaves are typically processed to a high-grade green. Cups to red-orange, clear liquor; aroma has a hint of smoke, is light chocolaty, with a fruity note and a lingering sweetness. For black tea lovers, this is a good everyday tea.
In Fujian Province, there are numerous varieties of this classic green tea. Known both as Mao Feng and White Pekoe, each spring it is a pleasure to seek out and taste those lots that capture the richness and creativity that made this tea popular. Ours is organic, made of curly, darkish green leaves mixed with silvery buds that sweeten its vegetal taste. For the green tea lover, this is an excellent everyday tea offering body and a depth of taste that will satisfy.
Our Congou, from Fujian Province, reflects the Chinese tendency to use a lighter touch in oxidizing. This tea was grown locally near Fuzhou using traditional farming methods. Medium-size black leaves, uniform and slender, mixed with golden buds, creates an enticing tea. The flavor is softly sweet and the aroma nuanced. Light on the tongue, it will show some complexity with a hint of malt and, at times, fruitiness. Milk and sugar can be used with this tea.
A comparatively rare, scented black tea made in Fujian with larger size leaves that, once processed to black tea, are scented with the fruit juice of freshly harvested Longan berries. This makes a highly aromatic black offering a very distinct, strongly sweet and fruity cup with a lingering finish. An excellent tea served hot and absolutely wonderful served chilled as iced tea. The scenting process for this tea is old traditional style and an uncommon skill.
From Fujian Province, our pearls were grown and made by a tea maker we know and have purchased teas from for years. These pearls were plucked early in April and show a downy color over light green leaves. The leaves are highest grade, offering a sweetness that is natural and light. The pearls will unfurl slowly showing delicate leaves and light yellow liquor.
Truly one of China's finest green teas and becoming increasingly rare! The first impression is the wonderful shape and distinctly sweet aroma of the leaves. It cups to a nectar-like taste, with a finish that lingers sweet and clean. In Fujian Province, this tea is called "Mei Lan Chun" and is made with the slow growing varietal, "Mei Zhan". Growth is nurtured by clouds and mists that shroud the mountains producing a compact, very aromatic leaf. Easy to brew and enjoy. The tea is at its best with water temperature well below boiling. The leaves will offer multiple infusions.
The prized grades of this varietal are grown in the mountains along the coast of Fujian Province. Once withered and typically oven-air dried, the result is a mix of light-to-dark green leaves that are delicate, quite fragrant, offering a liquor suggestive of light-honey notes. This varietal has been grown in the mountains surrounding the Buddhist Drum Mountain Monastery for centuries. It is also known as a tea that monks enjoyed to keep alert and meditative. Easy to drink, it is refreshing and perhaps best enjoyed with baked treats.
Each year, we choose a lot of Tieguanyin from our source tea maker that we believe is the finest of that season's selections. We hope it will intoxicate the drinker with its sublime aroma and nuanced floral taste. A rich tea, it caresses the tongue with nectar. Fully opened, the rolled leaves are broad and long with serrated edges. The first steep is about aroma. The second steep, the leaves begin to give up their treasured tastes and will for a number of steeps. The taste lingers long after drinking. This is a high-grade oolong, much prized in China and we are proud to offer it to you.
A unusual, very small leaf, black Congou. The leaves are distinctively smaller than a traditional Congou reflecting the endless variety and tastes of Chinese tea makers. Leaves are high-fire, aroma is pleasingly strong, and it cups to soft notes that grow to a natural sweetness. The leaves are smaller and they will release their aromas quickly. Tea was made in Fujian Province.
A wonderful green tea characterized by its broad green-golden leaf. Not a common offering but at some point each year we find a lot. Perhaps the widest of the flat-leafed greens from Zhejiang Province, it is fired and worked by hand in a wok-like pan. Once fired, broad golden leaves impart a roasted and nutty flavor. It has a distinctive aroma that is fresh, it's gold and green color are very appealing visually and, once cupped, it will definitely satisfy.
Our Golden Monkey has everything a traditionally made, high-grade Fujian black tea should. Timely plucking of leaf and bud in first flush of spring, artful processing and delicate oxidizing has made a blend of delicate dark leaves with an ample quantity of small golden buds. This black offers a full-bodied cup rich with flavors of malt, some chocolate notes and a wonderful fragrance. Cup liquor is a bright red. A true self-drinker but this tea can take milk and sugar.
