To our valued customers,

As a purveyor of tea, we believe in its beneficial effect on human health. As well, we recognize our responsibility to work at the highest levels of food safety to preserve these natural qualities. Toward this, it is very important for you to know what we are doing to ensure the safety and health of each of you and our employees as we charter our course through this unknown and alarming territory of the COVID-19 virus.

We believe tea can help smooth the rough edges of these times. As we service grocery stores, other channels of food distribution and on-line sales, we will continue to operate our warehouse using procedures that support the federal Food Safety Management Act (FSMA) and the guidelines of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as a handler of food.

Going forward, we will be working with a smaller staff as this is the safe course for all. Please bear with us as we service your orders in as timely a manner as we can. We look forward to healthier and calmer times. May this difficult period serve to inspire all of us to be mindful, collaborative, and compassionate.
